Jammu: Police book flour mill employees in multi-crore rupee embezzlement

Jammu, Jan 20 (UNI) The sleuths of the Jammu Crime Branch (CB) have booked three employees of M/S Jammu Flour Mills for multi-crore embezzlement by committing criminal breach of trust and adopting a peculiar modus-operandi.
The Crime Branch spokesman here on Monday said that a written complaint was received in Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu from one Arun Mahajan, Managing Partner, M/S Jammu Flour Mills, Gangyal, Jammu alleging therein that three employees of Jammu Flour Mills namely Dikshant Anand (Area Salesman), Narinder Chopra (Billing clerk) and Amit Sharma (Accountant) committed serious financial irregularity and embezzlements by resorting to a well-planned criminal conspiracy, fraud and deceit worth Rs. 2 to Rs. 2.50 Crores.
In September, 2024, Moti Lal (Operations Manager) informed the complainant about suspicious billing activities resorted to by accused Narinder Chopra who was working as Billing Clerk in Flour Mill, said the spokesman as per the complainant.

₹1 crore cash seized from car in Rohtak; four detained
