J&K: Police bust terrorist hideout in Baramulla forest

Srinagar, Aug 8 (UNI) Police in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir today busted a militant hideout and recovered arms and ammunition.
Police said, acting on a specific input, they busted a terrorist hideout in the Gogaldara-Danwas forest area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir.
During the operation, police seized a pistol, a magazine, nine rounds of ammunition, a hand grenade, and medical supplies from the location, they reported.

IMD forecasts isolated heavy rain in Haryana, Punjab

Panchkula, July 15 (UNI) Rainfall activity is expected to become more widespread across northwest India later this week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab during July 19-20, along with isolated heavy rainfall over the region.
