Srinagar, Mar 17 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered heroin-like-substance from his possession in Srinagar.
Police on Monday said that in its ongoing mission to eliminate the scourge of drugs from society, they have arrested here a notorious drug peddler, identified as Aqib Farooq Bhat a resident of Nadirgund Peerbagh Hyderpora.
They said a police team of Srinagar during routine patrolling duty at Rawalpora-Peerbagh link road, intercepted and apprehended Aqib in suspicious circumstances and during his search, contraband Heroin-like-substance was recovered from his possession.
