Jammu, June 11 (UNI) A joint team of security forces early morning on Wednesday launched a search operation in the forest area of Nud in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir after inputs about a suspicious movement.
Police sources said the forces moved in swiftly after some villagers tipped them off about movement of some suspects in combat dress on Samba-Udhampur Dhar road in Nud area. The area was cordoned and a massive search operation was launched, sources said.
A joint team of Army, Special Operations Group and police launched searches in the area but nothing has been found yet. The search operation was in progress, sources added.
