J&K: DIG Railways reviews security

Jammu, Apr 20 (UNI) Deputy Inspector General, Railways, Jammu and Kashmir Zahid Manhas today reviewed the security scenario and other measures during a visit to the GRP Jammu on taking the charge.
DIG Manhas conducted a key visit to GRP Jammu and held Darbar and briefed the officers to address the issues on priority.
He also held meeting with SSP GRP Jammu and GOs of GRP Jammu. The DIG as per the statement, reviewed operational efficiency and security at the Railway Station Jammu, enhancing security for passenger and also discussed ongoing security measures.

Four shooters of Prabh Dasuwal gang injured in police encounter

Chandigarh, May 13 (UNI) In a breakthrough against organized crime, the Tarn Taran police neutralized a module of the notorious Prabh Dasuwal gang following a fierce encounter in the border district. Four shooters associated with the gang were injured and subsequently apprehended during a high-stakes operation near Asal Uttar village under the Valtoha police station. The accused have been shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment while under heavy police guard.
