J&K: Contractor, JCB driver arrested in Baramulla for unauthorised excavation at graveyard

Srinagar, July 8 (UNI) Police today arrested a contractor and a JCB driver for allegedly carrying out unauthorised excavation activity inside a graveyard in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to police, the incident occurred late on the night of July 7, around 11:50 PM, when local residents reported suspicious excavation at Shiapora village in Delina. using a JCB machine within the graveyard premises.

Hardoi, March 11 (UNI) The anti-corruption organization team of the CBI has arrested Suresh Chaudhary, former district president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Hardoi, for allegedly accepting Rs 45,000 as bribe from a woman in exchange for helping her secure a bank loan, officials said today. According to the complainant, Seema Devi, a resident of Achhramau village in the Baghauli police station area, had applied for a Rs 5 lakh loan under the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Employment Scheme at the Bank of Baroda.
