J&K: Cloudburst hits remote village of Kishtwar; casualties feared

Jammu, Aug 14 (UNI) Casualties feared after a massive cloudburst hit a remote village, Chosit, today in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that flash floods were triggered after a cloudburst hit the Chositi village of Kishtwar, adding, "Casualties are feared in the fury, but exact details are being ascertained."
Meanwhile, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh posted on X, "Just now spoke to DC Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma after receiving an urgent message from LoP Jammu and Kashmir and local MLA Sunil Kumar Sharma."
