J&K Chief Justice reviews pendency of old cases in Samba

Jammu, Nov 5 (UNI) The Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Tashi Rabstan on Tuesday visited the District Court Complex, Samba and inspected the infrastructural facilities in its premises besides reviewing the pendency of all ongoing projects and court cases.
On arrival, the Chief Justice was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour and warm welcome by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Samba and other judicial officers, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, SSP Samba besides President and members of the Bar Association, Samba
During the visit, Justice Tashi Rabstan closely monitored the ongoing projects in the District Court complex.

Shimla, June 23 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh High Court has held that a valid BPL certificate issued by the competent authority is sufficient for awarding BPL marks in recruitment. The court ruled that asking for a separate income certificate in such cases is unjustified and arbitrary.
