J&K ACB books cop in disproportionate assets case

Jammu, Apr 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau on Saturday registered a case against a constable in disproportionate assets case.
The ACB spokesman here said that the case was registered on the outcome of a secret verification conducted into the allegations that the accused public servant has acquired huge assets, both moveable and immovable, disproportionate to his known source of income, on his own name as well as in the names of his family members.
He added that the secret verification so conducted has revealed that the above named public servant has accumulated huge assets in the shape of palatial double storey residential house, shopping store with residential building, Food restaurants and purchased several plots, various luxurious vehicles as well as costly electronic items etc.

Mathura, February 6( UNI) As large numbers of devotees continue to visit the Radharani temple in Barsana, the temple management has decided to introduce a new crowd-control system. To ensure smoother and safer darshan, a free token-based system will be implemented across all entry routes after Holi.
Now, devotees will be given darshan through a token system. Under this system, counters will be set up within the temple premises where devotees will receive free tokens, and darshan will be permitted according to the token numbers.
