IWD: Sood flags off Pinkathon, says Viksit Bharat vision can't be fulfilled without women

New Delhi, March 8 (UNI) Delhi’s Education and Sports Minister Ashish Sood on Sunday flagged off the Pinkathon Run on the occasion of International Women’s Day, with more than 10,000 women taking part, sending across a strong message of empowerment, health, and fitness.
Speaking on the occasion, Sood said that although every day is Women’s Day, it is extremely inspiring to witness such a large number of women early in the morning taking part in the run with awareness about their health.
"Pinkathon is not just a run, but a movement that encourages women to believe in their strength, challenge their limits and live a healthy, empowered and confident life, " Sood added.
