IT companies to invest Rs 650 crore in Bihar

Patna, Nov 10 (UNI) The companies associated with the Information and Technology (IT) sector were contemplating to invest Rs 650 crore in Bihar and would open new vistas for the youth in the IT sector in the state.
Official sources said here on Sunday that it is for the first time that nearly 20 companies have done the registration for the investment in the IT sector. The new ventures would generate 42 thousand employment including 12 thousand direct employment and 30 thousand indirect employment.
The sources said that the implementation of new IT policy has generated hope for investment in the sector and the companies were showing their interest to set up their ventures in Bihar. According to the source negotiations were in progress with the companies including IT, electronics system design and manufacturing(ESDM),
