Ishan, Klassen sparkle, takes SRH to play offs with dominating 5 wkt win, dims CSK chances

Chennai, May 18 (UNI) Sparkling knocks by southpaw Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klassen guided Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) to the play offs with a dominating five wicket win while denting the hopes of five time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a crucial IPL match at the M A Chidambaram Stadium here on Monday night.
Replying to CSK's 180 for seven in its last home game--which did not figure the iconic M S Dhoni amid expectations-- which was made largely due to nice cameos by Kartik Sharma and Dewald Brevis after Sanju Samson gave the team a flying start, SRH lost Travis Head early, powerful hitter Abshisek Sharma could not break the schakles to dominate in the powerplay, before Ishan and Klassen took the game away from the home team with a 75-run third wicket stand in 6.5 overs, anchoring the chase well.
The visitors crossed the finishing line ending at 181 for five in 19 overs, winning with a over to spare, that catapulted them to the playoffs.
