Iran hails MoU with US as diplomatic victory, says Washington made major concessions failing to achieve any objectives

Tehran, Jun 18 (UNI) Iranian officials have hailed the newly signed memorandum of understanding with the US as a "diplomatic victory", arguing that Tehran negotiated from a position of strength and forced major concessions out of Washington, while the latter failed to achieve any of its military objectives.
The 14-point agreement was signed remotely on Wednesday by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, according to Pakistani mediators, and came into force immediately.
While the White House has yet to publish the full text, a senior US official later outlined the document's contents to journalists after heavy criticism was levied over the secrecy surrounding the agreement.
