Chandigarh, Oct 11 (UNI) The family of senior Haryana IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, who allegedly died by suicide at his Chandigarh residence on October 7, today alleged that his body was moved to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), here without their approval, even as they stepped up their demand for "justice" in the matter.
The officer's body, earlier kept at the Government Multi Specialty Hospital in Sector 16, was moved to PGIMER today. However, Kumar's family is yet to give consent for the autopsy, sources said.
Speaking to reporters in Chandigarh, AAP MLA from Bathinda Rural and Kumar's brother-in-law, Amit Rattan alleged, "They have shifted the body without asking us. Injustice is being done with us.
