IPL 2026: Confident Punjab Kings take on unsettled Sunrisers in weekend’s first double-header

Chandigarh, April 10(UNI) Punjab Kings will head into their upcoming Indian Premier League 2026 clash with quiet confidence, backing their collective strength against a star-studded but inconsistent Sunrisers Hyderabad side at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium in Mullanpur on Saturday, in the first match of the day’s double-header.
Despite a strong start to the season, PBKS were left slightly frustrated after their previous match against Kolkata Knight Riders was washed out due to rain, forcing them to share points when they appeared well on course for another win. Even so, the overall mood in the camp remains positive, with the team showing signs of a well-rounded and cohesive unit.
