Invest UP strengthens strategic engagements in Japan, positions UP as Global Investment Hub

Lucknow, Dec 10 (UNI) In a major step toward expanding international partnerships, an advance delegation from Invest UP, led by Additional Chief Executive Officer Shashank Chaudhary, held high-level meetings in Japan with leading Japanese corporations, such as Renesas Electronics, Marubeni Corporation, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shimizu Corporation, and the Yamanashi Prefectural Government.
The engagements aimed to promote Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for manufacturing, mobility, technology, green hydrogen, and sustainable infrastructure investments, while exploring long-term avenues of collaboration.
In a significant government-to-government engagement, the Yamanashi Prefectural Government represented by Takeyasu Sanada, Director General for International Strategy and Yamanashi Brand Promotion; Kazuya Miyazaki, Governor’s Policy Aide; and Indian-origin Neerendra Upadhyaya, Prefectural Advisor, presented their advanced green hydrogen technologies, including the Yamanashi Model P2G System.

Rajdhani Exp claims life

Betul (MP), Jan 18 (UNI) An unidentified person was hit by the Rajdhani Express on the Parsoda track in the vicinity of this district's Amla Station, officials of Railway Proteection Force(RPF) said on Sunday.
The person's severed head got caught in the locomotive and was carried about 4 km to Amla where it was extricated with the help of Railway personnel. The rest of the body was found on the scene.

MP: Car runs over labourers, killing 2
