Invest in climate adaptation to prevent future hunger crises, warns UN Deputy Secretary-General

New York, Nov 18 (UNI) In a powerful address at the UN Security Council’s high-level open debate on conflict-related food insecurity, Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed underscored the critical need to invest in climate adaptation as a preventive measure against worsening global hunger.

Speaking in New York, she highlighted the devastating effects of conflict and climate change on global food security and urged the international community to act swiftly or face dire consequences in the years to come.

US to introduce new entry protocol requiring foreign nationals to submit to five years' of social media screening
