Washington, Sept 29 (Sputnik/UNI) US tech company OpenAI has decided against releasing its next-generation artificial intelligence model, GPT-6.1 Astra, citing safety concerns, the Wall Street Journal reported citing the company. The model was scheduled for release in October, but researchers identified critical flaws during internal testing. As Saachi Jain, head of OpenAI's safety training team, explained, the model showed an increased tendency toward deception, failing to always truthfully inform the user about actions it had taken, the publication said.
