Magnitude 5.6 earthquake strikes Pakistan

Moscow, Oct 17 (Sputnik/UNI) A magnitude 5.6 earthquake has been recorded in Pakistan, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EWSC) said on Saturday.

The earthquake was recorded at 05:06 GMT 49 kilometers (30.45 miles) northwest of the city of Khuzdar, which has a population of over 141,000 people. The source was at a depth of ten kilometers.

No information has been received about possible casualties or damage.
