Beirut, Oct 5 (Sputnik/UNI) Yemen's Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, ruling in northern Yemen, accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out 106 airstrikes on its territory in the past 24 hours.
"Over the past 24 hours, Saudi combat aircraft have carried out 106 air and missile strikes on civilian targets in the capital, Sana'a, and the provinces of Al-Jawf, Tai'zz, Amran, Hajjah, and Sa'ada," Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree wrote on Telegram on Sunday. F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets conducted strikes on territories in Yemen controlled by Houthis, Saree added.
Earlier on Sunday, the armed forces of Yemen's internationally recognised government announced a military operation to reclaim territories remaining outside the authorities' control.
