International wellness and yoga centre in UP's Baghpat moves to next stage

Lucknow, Dec 17 (UNI) After receiving Cabinet approval on December 2, the proposed International Wellness and Yoga Centre in western UP's Baghpat has now moved to the bidding stage.
The Directorate of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has invited proposals through a request for the design, finance, development and maintenance of the centre along with allied spiritual and wellness facilities.
The project is planned on 70.885 hectares of land in village Hariya Khurd (Pura Mahadev), tehsil Baghpat, and is envisioned as one of the largest dedicated yoga and wellness campuses in north India. The centre is being developed to meet the growing interest in holistic health, where people increasingly seek a balance of physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing and meditative practices in a calm, nature-friendly environment.
