Insiders share disturbing details about Sean Diddy Combs

New York, Feb 6 (UNI) The music mogul Sean Diddy Comb's name has been doing the rounds on various media channels for months now, for his infamous 'white parties'.

Last year in May, CNN released a video of CCTV footage where he was allegedly seen kicking his former girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, as she lay motionless. In November, she filed a lawsuit against Combs - in which she accused him of rape and sexual trafficking - for an undisclosed sum, though the lawsuit was settled later.

A string of other lawsuits have since been brought against Combs for abuse, sexual misconduct and rape. The latest was filed on Tuesday by Crystal McKinney, a former model and winner of MTV's 1998 Model Mission competition.

McKinney claimed she was "drugged and sexually assaulted" in 2003 by Combs following a fashion event in New York, according to BBC.

Combs - formerly known as P Diddy, Puff Daddy or Puffy - is one of the best-selling and most acclaimed artists of all time, with three Grammy Awards and millions of record sales to his name. For years, nothing really affected his rise to icon status as an artist, producer and businessman.

As Combs awaits trial in May on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, his once glorified legacy faces irreversible damage.

"One could think that he's just a disgusting human being, but that's not my memory of Puff," said Jimmy Maynes, who grew up with Combs in Mount Vernon, New York, according to BBC. But after a pause, he adds: "Or maybe money just gives people the freedom to be exactly who they really are, and he was that guy all along." UNI XC SSP
