Innovators to look at sectors where imports ratio is high: Thakur

New Delhi, Jun 25 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur has said innovators and entrepreneurs to look at sectors such as Medical devices, Pharma and Defence where imports ratio is high.
In his address during an event where top ten Innovations to fight against the COVID-19 were showcased by Lemon Ideas over the web, Mr Thakur spoke about 3 E’s , Education, Employment and Empowerment.
The Minister, who had presided over the event as the Chief Guest, gave example of how India
became self-reliant in making PPE Kits because of current pandemic situation because of entrepreneurs.
At the event, the Start-up teams showcased their ideas which ranged from air purification to kill viruses, low cost and efficient option for highly expensive ventilators, foot operated taps, sanitizer compulsion device, UV C based mask, UV C Torch , IoT base ventilator, IoT Based IV monitoring device etc to Mr Thakur, Lemon Ideas said in a statement.
Mr Deepak Menaria, Founder-Lemon Ideas shared about the journey of 7 years of Lemon towards
making India self-reliant and land of innovation plus Job creators.
Lemon Ideas promotes entrepreneurs and by creating, nurturing and growth of entrepreneurial ventures. It helps entrepreneurial ventures in awareness building, training, mentoring, and guiding them with various initiatives that propel innovations.
