Injured leopard died after attacking 4 forest guards in Rajsamand

Jaipur, Dec 12 (UNI) An injured leopard that reportedly was hit by some unidentified truck on the Rajsamand-Udaipur 4-lane highway near Nathdwara Thursday night has died after injuring 4 foresters who were trying to rescue the animal.
According to Forest and Wildlife officials, the big cat was seen roaming along the road in injured condition last night. Later, it moved into agriculture fields along the road. The Forest rescuers were not in position to conduct rescue operations as the big cat was hiding in the fields under the cover of darkness.
In the morning today, the foresters started search for the leopard and spotted the carnivore later in the afternoon in a field in injured condition.
