Injection kills minor in MP

Khargone (MP), Oct 10 (UNI) An investigation has commenced into the death of a four-year-old after he was allegedly administered an injection prescribed by a private child specialist in this district's Jaitapur Police Station limits, police said.
Vihan's autopsy was conducted. Thikri-resident Kalu Panchole's son was experiencing slight fever. Yesterday, he was taken to Dr Rajesh Saide here. After taking the injection, the child's condition deteriorated. He began foaming at the mouth, experienced jerks and fell unconscious. Saide sent the minor to a hospital where he succumbed.
"I had advised that the child be hospitalised, but his kin disagreed and wanted treatment, so I prescribed an antibiotic injection," claimed Saide.
