Infiltration bid foiled in J&K’s Uri sector, Pakistani terrorist killed: Army

Srinagar, March 15 (UNI) Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt in the Uri sector of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir, killing a suspected Pakistani terrorist during an overnight operation.
The first infiltration attempt along the Line of Control this year in Kashmir region was foiled in the general area of Buchhar in Uri sector on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday following a specific intelligence input provided by the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP).
In a post on X, Army’s Srinagar based Chinar Corps said the operation named Diggi 2 Uri is still underway.
