Indian Navy personnel arrested by UP ATS for alleged espionage for Pakistan’s ISI

Lucknow/Agra, March 10 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested an Indian Navy personnel for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), officials said today.
According to ATS officials, intelligence inputs indicated that an individual had come in contact with a Pakistan-based ISI agent and was passing sensitive information related to India. Acting on this information, the UP ATS developed the lead through electronic and physical surveillance.
During the investigation, the suspect was identified as Adarsh Kumar alias Lucky, a resident of Agra and currently serving as a Lance Naik in the Indian Navy, posted at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi, Kerala.

Shopkeeper shot at in Rohtak, critical after bullet pierces neck and cheek

Chandigarh, April 11 (UNI) A shopkeeper was left critically injured on Saturday morning after an unidentified assailant opened fire at him inside his store in Rohtak, Haryana, police said.
The victim, identified as Praveen, runs a cement and iron rod business under the name Rajlakshmi Cement-Sariya on Gohana Road. He was shot at point-blank range around 9:30 am.
