India Women’s Hockey Team start Super4s with 4-2 win over Korea

Hangzhou, Sep 10 (UNI) The Indian Women’s Hockey Team began their Super4s campaign at the Women’s Asia Cup 2025 with a commanding 4-2 win over Korea in Hangzhou, demonstrating a blend of attacking flair and disciplined defending.
The victory was powered by goals from Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke, Sangita Kumari, Lalremsiami, and Rutuja Dadaso Pisal, while Yujin Kim’s brace kept Korea in contention.
India made an electric start, earning a penalty corner within the first two minutes. From the set-piece, injector Vaishnavi pounced on a rebound after Udita’s initial strike was blocked, slotting the ball home to give India an early lead.
