New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) India on Thursday voiced concern over the deterioration in the security situation along the Blue Line in Lebanon after Israeli forces were reported to have fired at UN outposts in southern Lebanon injuring UN peacekeepers.
In a statement, India also said the inviolability of UN premises must be respected and the safety of UN peacekeepers must be ensured.
“We are concerned at the deteriorating security situation along the Blue Line. We continue to monitor the situation closely.
