India's structural reforms have positioned India to become world's third largest economy by 2047 : Piyush Goyal

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal today said India’s GDP grew by 7.8 percent in the first quarter, making it the fastest-growing large economy in the world for the past four years, and this momentum would continue for at least the next two decades.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to structural reforms, ease of doing business and reducing compliance burdens and said these efforts had strengthened investor confidence and positioned India to becoming the world’s third-largest economy aiming for a 30–35 trillion USD economy by 2047.
Addressing the India–Brazil Business Dialogue on World Food Day the Minister said India’s growth story depended upon three pillars including strong Macroeconomic Fundamentals, Modern Infrastructure and Improved Quality of Life.
