India's economy in 'pink of health', well on path to becoming developed economy by 2047 : President

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) President Droupadi Murmu today said India is the fastest growing among major economies in the world with a GDP growth rate of 6.5 in the last fiscal and is well on way to becoming a self-reliant nation moving forward with great confidence.

In her address to the nation on the eve of 79th Independence Day the President said India’s economy is in the ‘’pink of health’’ and even amid stress in global economy, demand at home is pacing ahead.
