India, Pak to continue confidence building measures to ease tension along borders: Army

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) India and Pakistani on Thursday decided to continue the confidence building measures so as to reduce tension along the border.
According to the Indian Army, "Further to the understanding between the two DGMOs on 10th of May 2025, it has been decided to continue the confidence building measures so as to reduce the alertness level."
Notably, on May 10 both India and Pakistan agreed to stop all firing and military action on land, air and sea and instructions were given to both sides to give effect to this understanding.
On May 12, DGMOs of India and Pakistan agreed to take steps towards immediate reduction of troops on the borders and forward areas and desist from firing shots.
Moreover, it was also discussed that both armies would not fire a single shot on the borders nor will they initiate any aggressive and inimical action against each other.
