India-flagged Jag Vikram safely crosses Strait of Hormuz with 20,400 MT LPG cargo

New Delhi, Apr 11 (UNI) The Government of India on Saturday said it is maintaining close vigil over developments in West Asia while ensuring that critical sectors such as fuel supply, shipping operations and the safety of Indian nationals remain stable and well-managed.
In an official update, the government reassured citizens that domestic LPG supplies continue without disruption. More than 51.5 lakh LPG cylinders were delivered across the country on April 10, with no reports of shortages at distributorships.
Authorities emphasised that retail fuel outlets are operating normally and urged the public not to indulge in panic buying of petrol, diesel or cooking gas.
