India extends support to B'desh for ED, SEARO

Dhaka, Dec 10 (UNI) India has extended its support to Bangladesh's candidature for the post of Executive Director (ED) of South-East Asia Regional Office (SEARO) of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Vikram Kumar Doraiswami conveyed this message to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, when he paid a courtesy call to her at her official Ganabhaban residence here on Thursday morning.
After the meeting, PM’s Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Jahid Tusher briefed the reporters.
