India dominates with 208 medals as New Delhi World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026 concludes

New Delhi, March 13(UNI) The New Delhi World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2026 concluded on Friday after three days of thrilling competition, with India delivering a dominant performance across multiple events. Competing against strong international fields, Indian athletes finished first in the medal tally with a remarkable 208 medals, including 75 gold, 69 silver, and 64 bronze.
Russia finished second with 35 medals (15 gold, 14 silver, and 6 bronze), while Bosnia and Herzegovina secured third place with 3 medals, including one gold and two silver.
The final day saw several standout performances from Indian athletes across track and field disciplines.

Buenos Aires, April 18 (UNI) The Indian Women’s Hockey Team showed immense grit to finish their four-match tour of Argentina with a 2-2 draw. After a difficult start to the series, the Indian side fought back brilliantly, winning their final two matches to finish the tour on a high.The tour began with a competitive opening match on April 13, where Navneet Kaur (22’) and Annu (29’) found the net for India. While Argentina eventually won 4–2- with Maria Emilia Larsen (11’), Victoria Granato (18’), and Julieta Jankunas (42’, 55’) among the scorers- India showed strong attacking intent throughout.
