India aims to have its own space station by 2035: Dr Narayanan

Varanasi, Oct 16 (UNI) Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman Dr V Narayanan today said that ISRO aims to establish its own space station by 2035.
Addressing the 14th convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Dr Narayanan said that ISRO's future plans include work on Chandrayaan-4 and Chandrayaan-5, establishing India's own space station by 2035 and the Gaganyaan-3 mission.
He said that IIT (BHU) alumni are making significant contributions to industry and technology worldwide. He urged graduates to embrace continuous learning, creativity, self-confidence, teamwork and leadership skills, as well as responsibility towards society.

Two medicos rusticated in ragging case, half a dozen slapped with notices at IGMC Shimla

Two senior MBBS students have been rusticated for three months and fined Rs 25,000 each, while six others have been issued disciplinary notices for their alleged involvement in the incident.
