IN-SPACe backs three startups to build rocket engines, AI satellite tools under Technology Adoption Fund

New Delhi, June 11 (UNI): The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has selected three startups for support under its Technology Adoption Fund (TAF) scheme, backing projects that span launch vehicle propulsion, artificial intelligence (AI)-based Earth observation, and satellite navigation systems.
The startups, Bengaluru-based Astrobase Space Technologies and SatSure Analytics India, and Hyderabad-based TM2SPACE Technologies, are among the first Indian non-government entities to receive funding under the scheme.
Astrobase Space Technologies will use the grant to develop a reusable rocket engine powered by liquid oxygen and natural gas. Designed for medium- to heavy-lift launch vehicles, the engine is intended to support future commercial launch missions.
