Visitors from key sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defence, medical equipment, railways, construction equipment, heavy engineering, electricals, and consumer goods are expected to attend.
In a press conference here, IMTMA President Mohini Kelkar highlighted the growing importance of the metal forming segment in India’s machine tool market. “Metal forming currently accounts for 29% of the Indian machine tool market, and the segment is expected to grow measurably”.
In FY25, consumption reached ₹9,139 crore, with production at ₹2,696 crore. Exports rose about 6% year-on-year, led by presses, followed by press brakes, bending machines, and shearing machines,” she said.
