Immense employment opportunities in food processing sector: Dy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya

Lucknow, Sep 12 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has emphasized the vast potential for employment generation and income enhancement for farmers and entrepreneurs in the field of food processing. He directed the officials of the Food Processing Department to raise awareness about the facilities and subsidies provided under the state’s Food Processing Industry Policy, so that more enterprises can be established in the sector.

He highlighted that the Horticulture and Food Processing Department is actively working to boost the sector, which plays a vital role in ensuring better prices for farmers' produce. The Deputy CM stated that the food processing sector would be a major contributor to the vision of a developed India.

Delegates from 17 countries hold parleys in Rajasthan assembly on legislative drafting

Jaipur, Apr 18 (UNI) As many as 43 legislative delegates from 17 countries on Saturday held parleys with Rajasthan legislators in the state assembly here and shared views on the nitty-gritty of legislative drafting and their proper application in drafting an ideal Bill or legislation.
These delegates, mostly the elected peoples' representatives and legislature officers in their respective countries, were on an official visit to the Rajasthan assembly. The visit is part of the 37th International Legislative Drafting (Orientation) Programme organised by the Lok Sabha.
