IIIT Hyd celebrates FC Kohli Day with talk on AI in healthcare and inauguration of CDiTH

Hyderabad, Mar 19 (UNI) The Kohli Centre on Intelligent Systems (KCIS) at IIIT Hyderabad marked the 101st birth anniversary of Sri F.C. Kohli, the father of Indian IT, with the fifth edition of FC Kohli Talks on Wednesday.
Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals and Padma awardee, delivered a captivating lecture on "AI & Healthcare – Opportunities and Challenges," focusing on how AI is transforming the medical field.
Dr. Reddy discussed how AI is revolutionising various medical processes, including pre-and post-surgery, personalized medicine, and patient monitoring. He highlighted AI's effectiveness in areas like colonoscopy and the study of bacteria, improving detection and patient outcomes.
