IIIT-Bhubaneswar hosts grand inauguration of 4-day International Conference on remote sensing

Bhubaneshwar, Dec 11(UNI) The International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar (IIIT-Bhubaneswar) inaugurated the International Conference on Geoscience and Remote Sensing Systems (InGARSS-2025), a four-day global event bringing together leading scientists, researchers, technologists, and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge advances in geoscience and remote sensing technologies. The conference aims to address contemporary challenges in disaster management, climate analytics, and environmental sustainability, among many other critical areas.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries and eminent personalities from India and abroad. The Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, delivered the inaugural address, commending IIIT-Bhubaneswar for hosting a conference of such global relevance and reiterating the state’s dedication toward fostering scientific excellence.
The ceremony featured a welcome address by Prof. Ashish Ghosh, Director, IIIT-Bhubaneswar, who underscored the institution’s role in advancing research in geoscience, AI, and data-driven environmental technologies.
