IFCSAP holds interactive session with media on APFRA

Itanagar, Oct 15 (UNI) The Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) on Wednesday organized an interactive session with members of the media fraternity to deliberate on the Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act (APFRA), 1978—its intent, provisions, and the need for accurate public understanding.
The session aimed to promote media collaboration in dispelling misconceptions and misrepresentations surrounding the Act, and to foster a more informed public understanding of its inclusive nature.
Prominent speakers including IFCSAP president Dr Emi Rumi, former IFCSAP president Er Katung Wahge, former Advisor to the Chief Minister Tai Tagak, and Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board Chairman Hawa Bagang addressed questions from media representatives and clarified various aspects of the legislation.
