ICC intervention ensures Pakistan’s participation in T20 World Cup: Rajeev Shukla

New Delhi, Feb 10 (UNI) BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla on Tuesday lauded the International Cricket Council’s role in resolving issues around Pakistan’s participation in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, calling it a “major achievement” and a win-win for all stakeholders.
Reacting to the outcome of deliberations held by ICC representatives with the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Bangladesh Cricket Board in Lahore, Shukla said an amicable solution had been reached by giving priority to the game of cricket.
“I am delighted to see the outcome of the deliberations initiated by the ICC representatives who had gone to Lahore to talk to the Pakistan Cricket Board, as well as the Bangladesh Cricket Board. It’s a good solution, an amicable solution which has been found to give priority to cricket and importance to the game,” Shukla said.
