IAF chief Major Gen Tomer Bar hails success of Israeli airstrikes in Iran at Tel Nof air base

Tel Aviv, Sept 3 (UNI) Israeli Air Force (IAF) chief Major Gen. Tomer Bar hailed the Israeli airstrikes on Iran, while attending a change of command ceremony at IAF’s Tel Nof air base, where Brig Gen Shin took over charge of the base from Brig Gen Alef, lauding the air base for its contributions to the success of the strikes, reports Times of Israel.
Gen. Bar Bar lauded the performance and contribution of the Tel Nof air base personnel during the IDF’s ‘Operation Rising Lion’ which started its short war with Iran in June and successfully destroyed assets and infrastructure, vital to Tehran’s nuclear program, including the Iranian nuclear facilities which sustained considerable damage.
“In Operation Rising Lion, everything came together in a completeness that showcased this base’s full capabilities,” adding that Tel Nof had played a decisive role in what he called “the historic task of removing an existential threat from the people of Israel.”
