IAEA to inspect Iranian nuclear facilities in coming days, says Iranian nuclear chief

Tehran, Feb 9 (UNI) The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is set to inspect a number of Iranian nuclear facilities in the coming days, announced Iranian Vice President and head of the country's Atomic Energy Organisation (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami on Monday.
"After the war [between Iran and Israel in June 2025, IAEA inspectors] conducted an inspection of facilities that were not attacked, and in the coming days they will inspect a number of other facilities," Eslami said, as per Tasnim, reports Iran International.
Iran had earlier urged the UN nuclear watchdog to clearly define and codify its framework for inspections, asking the IAEA what measures were to apply "if a country's nuclear industry, which is under the agency's supervision, comes under a military attack," in a reference to the 12-day war with Israel, and later the US back in June last year.
