I love being under pressure: De Klerk

Visakhapatnam, Oct 9 (UNI) Nadine de Klerk stood at the crease as if time itself had slowed, the weight of a 250-run chase resting on her shoulders. And yet, with the calm of a master craftsman, she carved a path to victory for South Africa, guiding her team home with elegance and grit in an ICC WWC clash here today.
"I do love being under pressure. I love World Cups as well. And no bigger stage than playing India at home," she confessed, the words carrying the quiet confidence of someone who knows that cricket, at its heart, is a game of moments seized.
When she and Chloe Tryon (49) got together, it was poetry in motion, two women reading each other, pacing the chase with patience and daring. "We just had to take it deep… even if we need 10 runs per over in the last 5-6 overs, we’ve got ourselves to get there," de Klerk said, her voice revealing the strategic mind behind the flair.
