Hyphen launches sunscreen with SPF 70+ protection

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Celebrating its one-year anniversary in the skincare industry, HYPHEN, co-founded by Celebrity Entrepreneur Kriti Sanon and Pep Brands, said on Friday that it has introduced the Matte Max Velvet Touch Sunscreen with an ultra-lightweight solution offering SPF 70+ PA++++ protection and a matte finish.
This newly launched sunscreen is formulated with a powerful blend of natural and scientific ingredients for greater efficacy; it has a high SPF rating for protection against harmful sun and blue light rays, an official statement said.
The sunscreen is infused with advanced New Age UV filters like Tinosorb S and Uvinul® A Plus, which provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. The latter also combats free radicals and skin damage while preventing premature ageing, it added.
Additionally, the formula is enriched with Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant. It also features Meadowfoam Oil, known for its unique velvety texture that doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue and helps balance skin’s natural oil production. Brown Algae offers soothing moisturisation and ant-photo-ageing benefits, reducing the effects of repeated sun exposure on the skin.
This lightweight sunscreen is water and sweat-resistant, ideal for those who work out, like going for a run or a swim, or even the beach, but don't like to see white sweat coming off.
More than just a regular matte sunblock, it doubles as a makeup primer, creating a smooth base for flawless application, making it an essential addition to any skincare routine.
Expressing her excitement about the launch, Kriti Sanon, Co-founder and Chief Customer Officer of HYPHEN, said, “Sunscreen is a vital part of any skincare routine. But if you’re someone like me who doesn’t like the feeling of heavy sunscreen on your skin, then the Matte Max Velvet Touch Sunscreen is perfect for you. Its texture is so velvety smooth that when my team first sent the product to try, I had actually asked them if it was a primer. The vision was to create something completely different—a sunscreen that’s the perfect balance between powerful sun protection, skin nourishment, and make-up prep. I’m happy to share this newest product, and I cannot wait for you all to try it.”
