Hyderabad Airport ranked world's 4th most family-friendly airport

Hyderabad, July 13 (UNI) GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) on Monday announced that the Hyderabad International Airport has been ranked the 4th Most Family-Friendly Airport in the world by UK-based travel experience provider AttractionTickets.com, making it one of only two Indian airports to feature in the prestigious global list.
The recognition comes under AttractionTickets.com's Happiest Airports Ranking, which evaluated more than 140 airports worldwide across nine family-centric parameters, including children's play areas, family security lanes, baby-changing facilities, stroller services, rest zones, Wi-Fi quality, accessibility for neurodivergent passengers, and overall passenger experience.
Hyderabad Airport secured an impressive score of 18.5 out of 20.
Welcoming the achievement, GHIAL CEO Kadhir Kadhiravan said the ranking reflects the airport's commitment to providing an inclusive, seamless and comfortable travel experience for families through child-friendly facilities, personalised assistance and continuous innovation.
Hyderabad Airport offers dedicated kids' play areas, family rooms, baby care rooms, complimentary strollers, trained passenger service associates, therapy dogs, a yoga room, and a wide range of family-friendly retail and dining options, reinforcing its position as a global benchmark for passenger-friendly airport infrastructure, a GHIAL statement said.

Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) Tata Trusts which holds a controlling stake of 66 per cent in Tata Sons stated here in an official statement on Thursday that its nominee directors received an email from Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran on August 12 informing them of his decision to step down after completing his present term.
The statement also mentioned that the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT) has begun the process of appointing a successor to Chandrasekaran, a day after he announced that he would not seek another term after his current tenure concludes on February 20, 2027.
