Hyd: Rare Pancreatic Tumor treated in woman from Mauritius at KIMS Kondapur Hospital

Hyderabad, Jan 2 (UNI) Doctors at KIMS Kondapur Hospital successfully treated a rare pancreatic tumor in a 55-year-old woman from Mauritius who was suffering from recurrent episodes of fainting due to dangerously low blood sugar levels.
As the condition required a highly complex surgical procedure, doctors in Mauritius referred her to Hyderabad for advanced treatment, the hospital said in a release here on Friday.
The woman had been experiencing sudden dizziness and loss of consciousness whenever she delayed meals.
