Hyd: ‘ No HC stay orders on Old City Metro Rail Works ‘: Clarifies HAML MD

Hyderabad, June 13 (UNI) : N.V.S. Reddy has been extended as the Managing Director (MD) of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) and Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) Managing Director NVS Reddy on Friday clarified that there are “ No High Court stay orders on old city Metro Rail works’.
Reddy said about 311 properties have been acquired and an amount of Rs.283 crores disbursed towards compensation so far.
In a statement, Reddy stated that the contents and titles of the news item published in some newspapers and broadcast in a few channels today that the “High Court issued stay orders on old city Metro Rail works” are factually incorrect and misleading.
